Best Holiday Wishes!

The holiday season is a time to reflect and give thanks for all of our blessings. Our success is measured by the many happy riders and friends we continue to make. We wish you joy, health, prosperity, and we are hopeful for the safe and speedy return of those of you who serve our nation.

Thank you from all of us. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Gunnar 29"ers are Rollin' Big Time!

Thanks to your requests, input, and to a great word of mouth response, the first batches of Rockhound and Ruffian 29"ers are making their way through the factory!

At this time they are offered in virtual 17.5, 19, and 20.5 sizes. Check out the geometry charts for the details: Ruffian - Rockhound

Both the Ruffian and Rockhound feature suspension-corrected geometry. For those wishing for rigid forks, we suggest the 29" Karate Monkey. We expect other suspension-corrected rigid forks by late spring. Other detail specs follow the 26" version.

Company Profile - Jim Fitzgerald

This month's Gunnar team personality is self-proclaimed ladies man: Jim Fitzgerald.   After working part time here while in high school, Jim joined us full time on the shop floor in June of '98.

As with many on our team, Jim's talent and eye for detail is multi-faceted: machining, brazing, fork building, and pre-paint inspection. Each Gunnar starts with his precise tube preparation and later meets his critical eye before allowing your frame to be painted.

The consummate Green Bay Packer fan, Jim's personal bike is a classic Waterford 1400. This is a Reynolds 753 mountain bike frame done in a stealthy flat black.

" I love the fact that something I created and built with my own hands can bring so much joy and happiness to our riders. I am always excited to see people riding our stuff knowing I built it. It is great getting feedback from our customers and exceeding their expectations. Thank you for riding our bikes!"

When not wielding a torch or mitering tubes, Jim likes to spend his free time with his daughter, hunting, fishing, and four wheeling.

Snow Bike!

Some of you in the "great white north" might like to see the custom Gunnar Rockhound Snow Bike we built for Todd Tallman to ride in the Iditabike. Just thinking about it gives us shivers.
