In looking at the geometries of the Hyper-X, I'm totally confused. In a road frame I've always ridden a 54 with a 54 top tube. My saddle height to center of BB is 730 mm, reach is 680, and drop is 40. When I plug these figures into the Gunnar fit tool a 56 ends up a lot closer then a 54. Makes no sense! I use a seatpost with a 16mm setback and I'm guessing the fit tool calculates a straight seatpost. Figuring a 84 x 100 stem with 20mm of spacers.
The length of the head tube from the 54 to the 56 makes a big jump. But it seems as if the longer head tube is what makes the 56 seem a better fit.
