I'm mainly concerned because I am not yet a confident descender, so the slightly slower handling appeals to me in that regard. I was riding a '06 Trek 2100, which has the same head tube angle, but longer chain stays (by 5mm) (not sure about the seat tube angle). At 33-35 mph I decide that's fast enough.
I mostly do rides of 20-50 miles, with some fast group rides thrown in there. Would like to try a crit or road race in the future, but those are not my focus.
I don't think I want the Sport model.
Unfortunately, our local shop doesn't have any Roadies built up, I'll have to check to see if any local riders have one in my size I can demo.
