I have an older model Rock Tour -- the one with the disc brake mount on the seat stay instead of the chain stay. I am wondering if I can attach an Old Man Mountain rack to the bike. It looks like the rack will interfere with the disc brakes.

What is the best solution to adding a rack to the bike? I will be doing an 850km off-road ride in Spain in the Spring and need to still figure out how to carry my gear. Thanks in advance for the help!

I have seen an Old Man Mnt rack on the same vintage Rock Tour as you describe and it does work. Although the bike I saw had disk brake dropouts, the rider was using v-brakes. Not sure if that helps.
