With my new to me Rivendell A. Homer Hilsen on the way it is time to thin the herd. For sale is my 54cm Gunnar Sport (Frame, fork, Stronglight headset, and Ultegra triple front derailer). I am asking $475 + $50 shipping if you are not local to the Twin Cities.

I will have the bike shipped and packed by my LBS (Hiawatha Cyclery). The bike takes medium reach brakes. This Gunnar Sport is from when Gunnar's still had curved fork blades and a more traditional geometry. I bought the bike new in early 2003, the serial number indicates that it was made in November 2002. The bike was my main ride until I got my Quickbeam in the Spring of 2004. Since 2004, I have probably ridden the bike less than 1,000 miles total (I think that I rode it 3 times last year). The bike rides great, I just don't ride it anymore.
The color is tusk. The paint has some rough spots -- see the photos and some spots that I touched up not so well. I would give the paint a 6.5 out of ten. I have some touch up paint that I will include if I can find it. If I can't find it you can order it from Waterford for a few dollars.
Geometry (from the 2002 Gunnar Brochure) is as follows
Seat tube (c-t) 54cm
Top Tube (theoretical) 55cm
Seat Angle - 74
Head Angle - 72.5
Rake - 45
Trail - 61
Head tube length - 118
Chainstay length - 43 cm
Wheelbase - 1009
Standover - 775
Axle to top - 510
Seatmast (in.) - 21.3
Gunnar says the bike takes tires up to 700 x 32. I was able to fit a 700 x 33.3 Jack Brown on the front (I never tried on the back). If you plan on running Jack Browns I would recommend the Tektro wide mouth brakes instead of the Shimano brakes.
$400 includes the frame, fork, Stronglight headseat and Ultegra triple front derailer.
If you want I will include the Ultegra medium reach brakes for $40.
