Picked up a new Rock Tour a few weeks ago, and didn't think too much of it at the time of pickup, but the LBS put the front derailleur clamp between the two water bottle mount points.

When I tried to put the water bottle cage on, I found that the derailleur interferes, effectively removing one available cage.

The cable also swings oddly away from the frame.

This can't be right. Why would the LBS install the clamp there? Isn't there a derailleur that fits below the lower bottle mount point?

Here's how I solved that problem: Two washers/nuts thick enough to raise the cage above the clamp.

As the frame is semi-compact in design, there's less seat tube available than traditional frames to place the braze-on bosses.
