My Rock Tour, from what my LBS says, is finally on its way.

Thank you Dave and to the rest of your team. I'm thoroughly looking forward to doing my first mini-tour with it when I ride it from the LBS to home (275KM).

Sigh. I wonder what Bike God I pissed off... QBP still has it!

I may not be able to get it until next weeked (which was supposed to be the start of my first bigger tour for the summer). WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... 10 weeks to wait for this bike...

I'm so depressed! I think I need to find some Haagen Das or something..

Welp. I finally got my new custom Gunnar on Saturday. Oh man. It rides great and is, in fact, lighter than my previous bike. I'll post pictures when I get back. I did a test ride of 50km broken down into 25KM stretches. Of course I did the dumb thing of going out for the 2nd ride and not have lunch. For those unaware, that was the day the temp reached about 43C with the humidex. D'oh! I was way too excited.

Of course the other thing I did is start a tour the next day. I'm in the midst of biking around Lake Simcoe (counterclockwise) and have made it to Orillia. In 4 days I've done about 454KM including the first day of 140KM (heat did me in on that day otherwise it might have been 200KM). I'll post more when I get back on Sunday/Monday.
