I am looking at purchasing a Gunnar Roadie size 48 for my wife. It is a stock geometry, which dictates a rake of 40. The frame I am looking at purchasing has a replacement fork with a rake of 50. They said the purpose was to releive toe overlap issues. Will a rake a 50 really change the way the bike was designed to ride? How will the ride be impacted?

Thanks!

Paul
