This is an unusual situation, since most people use an older bike, not a new one for their training. As long as you -
a> support the bike by the rear wheel, and
b> follow the manufacturer's instructions, you should be OK.
You shouldn't have structural problems.
Sweat and moisture is the big thing. High humidity is also not our friend, even if you don't sweat, so some kind of moisture protection before you start meaningful training.
I would recommend against training on the bike until you can get that coat of wax on.
