Greetings,
It's been approximately one month since my Gunnar Sport was painted. The bike is presently hanging in my basement and the temps are on the cooler side. (60 degrees) Although I don't plan on riding it until the Spring, I'm getting a little anxious about putting a coat of wax on it. Is it too soon or should I wait another month or two? Are the cooler temps going to slow down the curing process? Would I be better off bringing the bike upstairs where it's room temperature? Thoughts? Thanks.

Update: For anyone at Gunnar, the S/N is K10016. I'm assuming you'll be able to determine the exact day that the bike was painted based on the S/N.

- Bill

Wax anytime. If you have nice cold winters like we have up here in cheddarland, the humidity stays low, so waxing isn't necessary. In humid climates, waxing is important even if a bike is unused.

As to the serial number: yes, it tells all.

May you have many happy miles on your Gunnar!
