My (new to me) older Rockhound.
I'm getting back in the game after a couple years off and picked this up from a friend fairly cheap.

Goldrush over charcoal silver. Way back in 2002, I went on a limb when Joanna (I think that is her name) told me that it's a great color, and I ordered it sight unseen. I've never regretted it!

Hi there - here's my bike at Ocean Beach in San Francisco after just being built up. It's a custom rock tour - i built it up at first as a road bike but have changed it to more a touring / randoneering bike which is what my intent was on ordering it. It's smooth and quiet - the most comfortable bike i've ridden. Rides like a dream!

It was the first bike (other than BMX many years ago) that i've built up from parts. I had a blast doing it and definitely learned a lot. As a consequence have a few parts that didn't make the final bike for one reason or another. ;)

Nice to see high end parts on a great frameset. I like the straight steel fork. Nice and proportional.

VERY nice indeed! Regarding size (56cm), how tall are you? I'm just under 6' and currently ride a 58cm 2001 Roadie. The 57cm top tube was spot on (with 110mm stem) for years though now that I am over 40 and do not get to ride as frequently, I've been considering "dropping" down to a 56.

Just got it back from repaint from a local shop, with hours to spare for the John Bryant Race for Relief, a 6 hour race in support of the trailhead port-o-potty!

I tried for two hours, still can't upload photos. It would help sell bikes if potential customers could look at them.

check the resolution of your pictures. Most cameras will create larger file sizes than the the forum will allow, which is 500 kb. I ran into this problem and had to downsize all of my pictures, even after I took them with the lowest resolution on my camera.

ImageBamboo with Vanilla shake panels and black pinstripes - custom level tube geometry - steel shouldn't slope! Nice old school Brooks saddle coupled with the new school Sram Rival 10 speed! Best of both worlds and still under 19lbs
