|Post subject:||Registered my frame ... what does this stuff mean?|
Hi there - this my first post and I'm a little nervous
I just bought what was sold as a Gunnar Roadie frame 52cm in blue.
Here is what came up when I registered the serial number
Frameset Information Page for Serial Number J00162
Original Dealer: Schwab Ltd.
Product: GTB 52cm
Ordered: 08/28/00 Shipped: 10/20/00
GTB/ / Gunnar - Road Race Frame Only - Roadie 52cm
320/TBLUE / Gunnar True Blue
WPCPROMO/ / Promotional Discount 4's qty pricing
Not sure just what GTB stands for (Gunnar True Blue?)
Am I wrong in the belief that the Roadie didn't come to be until 2002? Was it not the Hot Dog before that? It has a 1" head tube.
I'm hoping that someone here can set me straight as to "what it all means"
Here are some pictures of the frame (sorry for the messy garage ... )

It was first Hot Dog, then Tire Biter, then finally Roadie, so maybe GTB means gunnar tire biter? I can only speculate, but that is one sexy bike, put up more pics when you're done building it!

GTB does indeed come from Tire Biter. Your bikes looks great, too! Enjoy!

Thank you wvucyclist and Richard. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I have since found out that the frame is a touch too large for me, so it is for sale.
