Back in 2006, I asked Dave H. if the Bontrager Satellite Carbon Fork was an option for the Gunnar Sport and he replied:
"Here is the deal with this particular fork. Due to the crown height, it will raise the front of a Gunnar Sport by 13mm. (IRD Mosaic=372mm & Bontrager=385mm). This effectively relaxes the head angle by 1.3 degrees. To maintain the correct trail you will need to use the 50mm rake version of the Bontrager fork."
I found a Satellite fork with 50mm rake on ebay. The list price is $99.50 but I made offer of $51 and they took it. I bought one because I plan on buying a Sport in the next year. I have the Satellite on my Trek Pilot and it is a solid fork. Streamlined look would look good on steel frame. The fork crown would blend in well with headset also. Has fender eyelits and takes 32c tires w/o fenders. You can find at:
