It has bee about 20 yrs since I have ridden steel bike and I am ready to return to the road bike. I am looking to get the Sport and if anyone has it, I would like to know how it takes to any bad roads that are out there, i.e. ruts, grooves, pot holes, etc. due to the "harsh" winters in the northern states.

I've been riding my Gunnar Sport for several years in the Madison area, and it's been great. I have the Custom Gunnar steel fork and it's comfortable on rough surfaces and cracks in the road. I would get the Frame Saver treatment if you will be riding it in inclement weather. I don't aim for the rough pavement, but it handles pretty well everything quite well. I'd recommend it, for sure. Stable, smooth, comfortable. Nice bike.
