I am thinking about trying a crabon fork on my sport, I have the optional 1-1/8" steer tube. What forks would work with my setup. I will probably be using 23 ot 25cc tires. I love my sport. :D

Howdy,

The IRD Mosaic 57 will plug right in. At this time it is the only composite 57mm brake compatible fork we know of.

The next question will be what rake you will need. What size is your Sport?

That would be a 45mm rake.

Have a great day!

What's the additional price to get the 1-1/8" head tube? Does that make it fall into the full blown custom charge? Also, can you get a Gunner steel fork for the 1-1/8" head tube and still take long reach brakes? Any additional charge for the fork?
Thanks,

Hmmm. Please be just a bit patient. I will answer all of these questions shortly. The new Sport is finishing prototyping and we expect to launch details soon. Many of which will directly address your inquiry.

The forum will be the first to know!

Dave

Is the Mosaic 57 available through Gunnar/Waterford? I went to the IRD site and it indicated that even they were out of stock.

Hope the new Sport is available before May 30. I do like that Lime Twist color. Just a color idea but how about Green Bay Packer Green.
Thanks,
