Post subject:  New Gunnar Clothing Wish List

Based on your feedback and a number of other comments; we are now working with the fine folks at Primal Wear to develop our new Gunnar jersey and some other goodies (designs tbd).

We will be working with another vender for some other soft goods like t-shirts, etc.

Take a look at what types of items they offer. We value the membership's opinion as to what you would like to wear. Please share your thoughts.

The clothing program was left dormant for several months while I was away. I should be back on track soon.

Post subject:  Hincapie?

A Gunnar jersey would be cool. Bright orange to match my Sport? One can always dream.

If the shirt manufacturer hasn’t been figured out yet, you might want to consider Hincapie. They do customs for a lot of events around here. Compared to the ubiquitous Sugoi customs found in most bike shops, Hincapies use a slightly heavier fabric yet more open to breathe well but let you overstuff the pockets without blowout worry. The zippers are full length and can be slid more easily with a single hand. Easier to open at the base of climbs and reclose at the top. Just a suggestion based on experience with both brands. I have no affiliation with Hincapie Sports, though I have seen George on the road a couple times.

BTW, still completely satisfied with my Sport!

I would like to recommend Borah out of Coon Valley, WI. They make an excellent product and support a lot of local events in WI.

Post subject:  Second the Borah motion

I second the motion to use Borah as the gear guys. They do make a quality product and are from Wisconsin. Badger bikes and Badger gear...kind of goes together like Wisconsin beer and Johnsonville brats.

I'll second Mt. Borah, especially if they also make their big sizes available. I like Aero Tech Designs too. They also make big sizes. Yep, I'm fat.
