Yesterday I had a great conversation with Joanna in the Gunnar/Waterford office and she was a GREAT help. She provided me with alot of good information on the custom program. However I forgot to ask how long it takes to receive the frame once the initial particulars are sent from the dealer?

Also are my recollections correct in that a custom Sport would be the typical frame price of $675 plus the $350 custom charge with fork and and extras being above this?

Thanks for all of your help.

Thank you for the kind words. We are currently at a 6-7 week lead time for a custom frame. A custom geometry Sport frame retails for $1050.00 and the fork is additional..... $250.00 for a custom, steel Sport fork.

I am looking forward to being a new proud owner of a custom Gunnar. However, I must respectfully disagree with bikeshop girl on the lead time for a custom frame. I was promised my custom in 4-5 weeks and now the estimated delivery will make it about 9 weeks. :(
Having heard such good things about the frames, I am sure it will be worth the wait...just wish they were more upfront about the lead time.

'Tis the season.... for custom frame orders.... We're in high season now and our lead times just moved out a couple of weeks ago. There are many variables that can affect lead times and we do our best to be accurate. Please call or email me with your order/dealer info. and we can take a closer look at your specifics. Rest assured, your frame will definitely be worth the wait and you will appreciate the uncompromised quality & craftsmanship.

BSG,

That would be awesome if you could check on the status of my frame! Last I heard is that it should be completed next week.

Can I email you off the message board with the particulars?

Thank you!

Sigh. Waiting is the hardest thing to do.. I'll probably be looking at mid-June for mine. :(

Streetpup,

Happy Monday!

Go to the memberlist & email me from there or just send me a private message.

Thx,
