I am a new used Rockhound owner and was wondering if there was anywhere on the Gunnar site to get the geometry of the older bikes? Or are they exactly the same as the current? I am most interested in the length of the headtube as I am considering a used fork purchase and trying to figure out if the cut steering tube is long enough. The guy I bought the frame from said it was an 18" so I am guessing its the 17.5" . I would measure myself but it is getting powder coated. Any help is appreciated.
Frame serial number is K00194

Your K00194 is a 19" RockHound, dressed in the original Gunnar Blue. The basic handlig geometry is the same as the current one. Enhancements have been made for fit, tire clearance, suspension forks, etc.
There were a number of tweaks made during that time. It would be best to take an actual measurement from your head tube.

A 19" frame is not the best news. I think that it might be a little big, but hopefully it will still fit.
I am 5' 10" with a 32" inseam (pants length 30). Any Rockhound owners out there that are my size that ride the 19" frame?

It sounds like it should fit fine.
Did it? (I know this post is old)
