Hello all.
It's 60 degrees here in San Francisco and not a cloud in the sky. I'm going crazy waiting for my first Gunnar (Hyper-X) to arrive in a few weeks! I already have the rest of the components here waiting for the brown truck to arrive. I'm very excited about owning my first Gunnar and I look forward to posting some pictures to share my enthusiam with you all. Cheers!

I know how you feel. I placed my order for a Fastlane a couple weeks ago or so. My first Gunnar. Black in color. I'm going to dress her up in Silver and leather. I have to make a decision on the wheels, though... I'm about 230lbs, no lightweight by any means. I'd like to put 700c x 32mm tires on her, but I do want a good sturdy set of wheels to do this. I'd like to do a little bit of everything with her... primarily medium to long road rides, with a little bit of trails.

Both of the above bikes have shipped as of today, and both shipped a week before our estimate. We can always promise such good results. Hopefully, you'll be makin' that move from purgatory to cycling heaven.

Richard

I just wanted to chime in and let everyone know how pleased i am with my Hyper-X. It is a beautiful bike and it has a dreamy ride quality to it. I will post some pictures once the weather here in San Francisco clears up. I thought long and hard before purchasing this frame- checking out almost every frame builder in the process, but I must say that i have ZERO regrets and I love the bike! Thank you Richard.

Well, the weather has been super nice here in SF, and it looks dry moving forward! So, you must be out of purgatory and into heaven by now.

I ordered my Roadie a week or so ago, have finalized my build plan, and will simply WAIT. The dark cloud of bicycle theft has but ONE silver lining: ordering the replacement!

Just taken at Golden Gate Park here in SF.
Nothing fancy.
SRAM Force group
Winwood fork
Ritchey cockpit
Mavic 29er wheelset
Under 20 lbs. of pure bliss.
Best of all is how good it feels to pedal.

I'm still in love with my Hyper-X. I'm looking forward to logging some more miles with it this winter. I cannot express how happy I am. Everytime I look at my Gunnar, I fall in love all over again. Thanks guys!
