Hi All
Now that I have my crosshairs on order in the new color of the month (very cool btw) can you tell me if the frame ships with an application of Weigels Frame Saver already sprayed in there, or do I need to apply it myself.

Thanks

Howdy,

Frame saver is not standard. You can apply it yourself or we can apply it here for $30 and save you the mess!

Best,

Hi Dave,

My Roadie was suppose to have been built up with an application of frame saver. The shop didn't and I am wondering how had it would be to do after the fact. Do the BB and fork have to come out? How important is the frame save if the bike is stored indoors and only occasionally sees rain such as when the bike is on a rack while driving?

Hey Slim Chance,

You'll want to pull out the bottom bracket and fork to allow full coverage of the framesaver inside the tubes.

Frankly, with the type of use you describe, more attention the taking care of the paint would make the best sense.
